Tabloid Witch Alumni to Sit on Horror Film Festivals Panel

Two Tabloid Witch Awards alumni will sit on a Horror Film Festivals panel at the World Horror Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah, on March 29, 2012, at 4 p.m.

Panelists will include Thomas M. Sipos, founder and director of the Tabloid Witch Awards, and author of Horror Film Festivals and Awards. Also appearing will be filmmaker Jonathan Martin, whose An Evening With My Comatose Mother won four Tabloid Witches in 2011 (for Best Supporting Actress, Best Make-Up Effects, Best Visual Effects, and Honorable Mention).

The remaining panelists are Blake Casselman, Stephen Graham Jones, and Mario DeAngelis.

The Tabloid Witch Awards has held screenings at three previous World Horror Conventions -- in 2005, in 2008 (also in Salt Lake City), and in 2009.

As of March 16, 2012, the 2012 Tabloid Witch Awards has received 16 horror film entries: 11 shorts and 5 features. Entries have come from Canada, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, Italy, South Korea, Scotland, and the United States.

The Tabloid Witch Awards is a No Entry Fee horror film contest and festival. To enter the 2012 awards, your DVD must be in our in-box by August 31, 2012.
