Damon Packard in Fangoria #318

Filmmaker Damon Packard, who won a Tabloid Witch Award in 2008 for his mondo bizarro avant-garde short film, Chemtrails: An Investigative Report, is currently featured in issue # 318 of Fangoria.

The Big News reported by Fangoria is Damon's completion of his latest underground feature, Foxfur (see below).

The Tabloid Witch Awards is a No Entry Fee horror film contest and festival. To enter the 2013 awards, your DVD must be in our in-box by August 31, 2013.

Jose Gomez Readies Day 1 as Plastic Earns Nominations

Writer/director Jose Gomez's Bled White won an Honorable Mention, a Best Supporting Actress (Colleen Boag), and a Best Music Soundtrack (D.C. McAuliffe) Tabloid Witch Award in 2009.

Gomez now reports that his more recent horror feature film, Plastic, "has received 6 nominations at the Chicago Horror Film Festival. We are also up for a...

Best Actor: North Roberts.
Best Supporting Actor: Christian Gray
Best Supporting Actress: Colleen Irene Boag.

Best Director: Jose Carlos Gomez.

Gomez will screen Bled White on October 14th at the Portage Theatre in Chicago, at 1:30 p.m.
