Shawna Baca's New Music Video: Sacred Stones

Shawna Baca won a Tabloid Witch Honorable Mention for her short film, 3:52, in 2007. Now she's completed a new music video for the song, Sacred Stones, performed by Nadine Risha.

According to Baca, "Sacred Stones is a beautiful bhajan. It is an invocation of Lord Vishnu (the all-pervading essence of all beings) sung in Sanskrit and Latin. This is a visual journey that calls you into the depths of your being."

Sweet Home Films Fund-Raising for Incendiary

Composer Michael Daniel won a Tabloid Witch Award for Best Music Soundtrack in 2012 for his score for the Sweet Home Films production, Blood Rush.

Now Sweet Home Films is raising money for their next feature film, Incendiary, to be directed (once again) by Evan Marlowe.

Producer Kerry Marlowe says they "have an Indiegogo campaign to offset a portion of the funding." She describes Incendiary as "a horror comedy where one director's need to complete his movie drives him through all sorts of crazy horrific events."

Check out Incendiary's promo:

Incendiary will be Evan's third feature film. His second film is Horror House, which, according to Kerry, "will be released through Maxim Media and out on VOD on the 1st October."

CJ Johnson's New Short Film: Genesis

Filmmaker CJ Johnson won Tabloid Witch Honorable Mentions in 2007 (for The Signal) and 2008 (for Creepers). Now he's completed a short sci-fi film, Genesis.

CJ says that Genesis was "Originally it was intended to be a feature but, I got so much of a push to mold it into a TV series, that's what we're doing. If for whatever reason that doesn't work out, it's been very good to use as a fresh calling card."
